This program will give a demonstration with exciting experiments dealing with different aspects of space and our galaxy, and will then have a hands-on engineering activity for children in the audience.

We will meet at the Guthrie Public Library and then venture out into the world together tracking Pokémon. Bring your cards to battle and trade if you wish.

The Moon is made of cheese… no! Rice Krispies treats! Children discover that the Moon, like Earth, is made up of layers of different materials through this activity. They work to make models of the interiors of the Moon . Common food items are used to construct the cores, mantles, and crusts.

The library will be closed in honor of the Fourth of July.  A reminder that fines do not accumulate over holidays and that if the drop box is full, please hold on to your items till we reopen on Friday, July 5th at 9am.  Thank you!
