The Crowns Tea
The Guthrie Public Library will host our 4th Annual Crowns Tea. This event beautifully captures the self-expressions of women of all ages, from young glamorous ladies to serene and stylish grandmothers and is based on the book “Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats” by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry. Attendees will partake of drinks, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment. All attendees must wear a hat (church hat is preferred). To attend, register at the library or call 405-282-0050.
