Chess Club-Monday, April 7, 4-6PM: For ages 10+. Chess is an abstract strategy game. We will be playing chess.
Book Club/ Let’s Talk About It-Monday, April 7, 6-8PM: The Series is “Much Depends on Dinner.” The third book in the series is In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. Borrow a copy at the front desk. Nearly every aspect of our lives affects what we eat: politics, religion, economics, geography, culture and ethnicity, aesthetics, health and personal taste. As a species, we have elevated many of our basic needs to an expression of who we are, what we believe, how we interact with our environments, and how we communicate and express ourselves. Food is no exception.
